In many works - same direction be very serious - Abkhazia region is presented as a Muslim. In fact, the number of Muslims is low and they live mainly in the northern districts of the country. The majority of residents are Christian Orthodox religion and generally not very practical - nothing to do with the fervor of the Russians or the "Georgian" per se sign that each church has encountered. But as always, exceptions prove the rule.
